Important information

Thesis submission

Please continue to upload Bachelor's and Master's theses in TUbama. Electronic submission in TUbama is sufficient. You do not have to submit a print version. Parallel to the submission in TUbama, please send an e-mail to the Office for Student Affairs with the signed and scanned declaration about the thesis according to §22 (7) APB. The Office for Student Affairs will confirm receipt of the declaration by e-mail. The thesis has now been submitted and we will take care of everything else.

Registration forms for thesis, proposal and oral examinations

Please continue to send us forms for thesis, proposal and oral examinations etc. by e-mail to or drop them in our letterbox at building S2|01.

Medical certificate for examinations

If you have not taken part in an examination due to illness, please submit a medical certificate. Please note on the back for which examination the certificate is valid.

Certificate of study according to § 9 BAföG

You will receive a certificate of proper study when 75 % of the credit points (CP) have been achieved. BAföG FAQ

“Nachteilsausgleich” in exams

The General Examination Regulations (opens in new tab)of TU Darmstadt provide that in certain cases, e.g. in the case of a disability or family burden, the examination requirements can be reduced (see §22). New examination regulations!

From 01.04.2022, the 6th revision of the general examination regulations (opens in new tab) of the TU Darmstadt (APB) will apply. Students of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes will automatically be transferred to the new APB.
